Pocketparks, a nonprofit dedicated to revitalizing underused spaces, has unveiled its sixth park: the Laclede’s Landing Active Art Park and Disc Golf Putting Course. Located at 617 N. Leonor K. Sullivan Boulevard, this innovative park features art sculptures crafted from recycled bicycle parts, serving as creative obstacles for the disc golf course. The sculptures were commissioned from STL Artworks, a local organization that engages youth in art projects. The park also includes historic columns repurposed as benches and barriers to enhance safety and aesthetics. The grand opening on October 10, 2024, was celebrated with live music, food vendors, and activities for the community.
